TC-10007 - Unlock Studio Maintenance Manager
TIPS:
- Studio Poster Printable
- Example of using Tribe Challenge to earn/unlock Servant Leader position
- Can be part of a larger Hand-Off Playlist:
- Learners Brainstorm + Prioritize Responsibilities/Jobs to take over.
- Servant Leader Position Proposals are created (see below example) - preferably by learners, if possible.
- Tribe Challenge created/completed to "unlock" the position
- Learners complete Tribe Challenge, celebrate (potentially with a ritual?) and take over.
- Changes to position responsibilities/qualifications/etc. can be made via Town Hall with a super majority vote (needed to change a Studio Process or System) or be tested out with a Tribe Experiment with a simple majority vote (needed to run a Tribe Experiment).
CASE STUDY:
- Y3 S1 - at the end of the Session, brainstormed what could be handed off in the near future to the Learners. This list was then transformed into Servant Leader Position Proposals posted on the Outstanding Proposals board in the Studio in S2.
- Y3 S2 - 3 New Servant Leader positions were offered up to the AANWA Discovery Eagles for hand off - Landing Leader, Studio Maintenance Manager and Town Hall Leader. Tribe voted that the first position they wanted to take over was SM Manager. (see SM Manager Proposal below).
- Tribe Challenged to maintain an average of 15 min or less on SM in order to "unlock" the position. Current average is around 20-25 minutes - with some days closer to 30 minutes - Eagles have expressed discontent with this.
- At the time of this post, the learners just started the Tribe Challenge, so hopefully we'll remember to post details on how it all worked out!
